2. Comparison...

The graphics, voices, and play is MUCH better.

And a HELLUVA lot more difficult!
Do you have a PS2 or Wii?

Rent the game, and if you like it, but it.

I still play the first 3 on my PS2 with a PS1 card.

And I have "The Legend Of Spyro: A New Beginning" for my Gamecube.

3. My roommate has a PS2 hooked up to the TV in the living room.

And I've got a PS1 somewhere gathering dust. My neice has the first three Spyro games for PS1 and I played them a little bit at my brother's house. Unfortunately they just moved to another state.

Come to think of it... I think she still had my copy of Crash Bandicoot that I lent her...

4. Get a PS1 card and the first 3 Spyro games from a used videogame store.

You can then play the first three on the PS2, if you replace the PS2 memory card with the PS1 card.

6. I've got a few floating around

I'll probably have to clear them off though, I don't think I have any room left on them. :)

That, or I suppose I could try them out on the PS1 emulator I installed on my computer. Of course, I don't have a gamepad, just a joystick, so if you need both of the thumbsticks to play the game I won't be able to until I get a gamepad for my computer. :(

8. That's because it's Elijah Wood.

He did the Spyro voice almost identically to his portrayal of Frodo Baggins.
