6. i usually rent a room for the weekend.

you just call the desk and they always replenish the towels/sheets.

plus, there's a nice restaurant/bar in the lobby, mezzanine retail leading to a pedestrian mall/walkway, and the drug store and the liquor store make deliveries.

7. Whoa.... I spent last night in a downtown hotel....

Excellent view of the lake.

But I was attending a wedding reception elsewhere.

It was sorta weird. Did not spend lots of time in the room.
