Strange find in the woods today

On one of my weekend hiking excursions in the forest, I found this strange jar hidden under a couple of logs:



Wasn't sure what I had come across...so of course I opened it up to examine it's contents. It turns out I had stumbled upon a geocache - if you haven't heard of it, it's basically a treasure hunt game where people use GPS devices to follow coordinates to these 'treasures'...the fun is in finding the treasures based on coordinates that you can look up on the geocaching website. It's pretty neat - there's a few others hidden in the woods, so I'll have to look around some more.
