1. Not me, but just so your artwork looks even better in comparison, here is
something more in the realm of illustration that I did last week. I made it up for my dye sublimation printer and use it as a bumper sticker on my car.

2. My latest interpretation of the 2008 Republican National Convention Logo
Don't laugh. It took great artistic skill and imagination to dream that one up:

I really like your work. I'd never be able to do anything like that. :hi:

is perfect ... sure seems like a young one though.

8. It's almost hypnotic, isn't it.
I created it within an older version of 3D Studio Max.

The Oracle was created using Poser, Bryce, 3D Studio, and Photoshop. All that on an old computer about six generations slower than the one I have now.

functions on my older 8-bit computers... what used to take 20 minutes now takes a minute fraction of a second.

Those were the days I first became fascinated with fractals, too. This damned magic box shaped a good part of my artistic muse.

47. Reminds me of a Dilbert cartoon...
The Pointy-Haired Boss denies Dilbert the PC upgrade to run complex 3-D modeling software. Dilbert says something to the effect of "So you want me to run this on my 386?"

The PHB says "Well, how many times are really going to be doing this, anyway?", to which Dilbert replies "Once, if I hurry."

20. I really like the Moebius Plus.
Great work!

Here's a quick render of two 3D works in progress: One is a loudspeaker model, which is, except for the grill, finished. The other one is trying to make a Marilyn Monroe character right (and it's far from right yet.) Unfortunately, she came out too dark in the render, but I just wanted to show it quickly. She's also too skinny right now.

Programs used so far:
Hexagon 2.2 (for the loudspeaker), Poser 7, Daz3D Studio, Carrara Pro 6 and PS CS3.

Here's an older one with the speakers (still unfinished then):

35. Thank you!
Actually, I don't like Poser so much. I don't like the interface, but the lights are nice. For posing I use DAZ Studio, but there, the lights are horrible. So with the new Carrara Pro 6 which allows importing DAZ scenes (however, there are some bugs and a service patch was just made to correct some of the issues) I render them there or in Bryce. The loudspeaker only renders perfectly in Bryce for some reasons.

:hi:
