I see her going clockwise (list of right and left brain functions at link) but if you stare at the "reflection" of her left foot, you can "make her change directions". Edited to add, or if you see her out of your peripheral vision you might get her to change directions.

the fastest transition is the foot. My first perception was counter-clockwise and when I tried that she flipped immediately. Flipping her back took several rotations but now I can control how I see it.

Then clockwise. Then she winked at me.

I just shift to looking at her foot and she goes the other way.. back and forth

way I see counter-clockwise motion is to look at the shadow, but I have to really concentrate on it.

And I don't see counter-clockwise at all. I think I only have half a brain.

Using peripheral vision, it still rotates clockwise. I just cannot see it rotating anti-clockwise.

almost every four or five times around. You can't see it if all you're doing is staring right at her, but the leg and the reflection give that an obvious piece of evidence. I remember when the SIRDs first came out (the nearly staticy images where you could see it in 3D if you crossed your eyes a bit) and found them to be astonishingly easy for me, but I know some people who probably never saw the 3D image at all. It's a matter, I think, of how your eye interprets something and might depend a lot on your background: those who were openminded versus someone who was taught discipline and narrowmindedness. I would expect DUers to have a higher ability to see these things than....others we know online (freep! freep!).
