1. Considering that it appears to be a legit pectoral tear

as opposed to a kayfabe move to be out for a couple months because of steroids problems, no. Might as well ask for a pec tear next time I'm at the gym.

Besides, you'll still have to listen to him. He'll be doing interviews, I guarantee.

2. its a legit injury, surgery and 6-8 months on the shelf.

He's already done inteviews, but at least I won't see him squashing whatever challenger they put in front of him at every PPV for a while.
