On vacation, no news, no Internet...damn, I'm going to miss it.

Any good wars break out in GD while I was gone?

I scanned the headlines in McPaper and watched a bit of Headline Snooze while I waited for my plane, but didn't find out about the Nobel Peace Prize until I got home and checked in with DU. Did this story sink like a rock or what?

turn the entire Front Page and A2 of the Sunday paper into a reheated un-related right wing screed.

I was wondering what else happened last week, besides Mr. Gore's Prize they could be trying to obfuscate...
Then I heard about Gen. Sanchez's remarks and the reaction to them.

We're not allowed to smoke except in casinos, small bars, and the VFW. Or at least I think that's what I heard on the evening news.
