How's Mrs.Grumpy?
Has anyone been in touch with her? I think about her all the time. Does anyone know where I can send a letter?

Thanks.

1. She has a blog
I don't know if she wants the address posted publicly so I'll PM it to you. It's very touching.

2. Please don't post in public...
...but I'd really appreciate a PM. She's been so supportive and kind to me over the years. I really need to reach out to her.

Thanks!

3. I found the blog on my own
it's a real mindblower, indeed. I'm like, "Why am I clicking on all this incandescent sorrow on purpose?!" Then again, considering the circumstances surrounding your wedding, you'll be able to relate; most of the commenters (save for "kamaaina" :-) ) are themselves dealing with grief and loss.

7. Excellent idea. While you're there...
...read the chilling stuff she wrote about death earlier this year. As in, February. One was about a soldier killed in Iraq -- aged 36. MrGrumpy was 37. :scared:

5. I saw her at the weekend.
She took us out into Detroit on Sunday and we had lunch/dinner in Greek Town. We had fun and it was great to see her. :hi:

6. So you're the dear friend from England!
I'm so glad you could be with her. I read her blog and feel so sad for her.
