I gave my daughter a shot of her steroid inhaler, will have to do that myself. Got the rescue inhalers ready.

7. No fire here right now.
All the fires over the mountains in Malibu. One fire in Thousand Oaks.

11. Mine aren't...yet...
but I'm allergic to smoke and I am SO snuffly tonight! We had to close up the apartment and turn on the a/c just to keep the air quality manageable.

...and none of the fires are anywhere near me. I think the closest is about 15 miles away. That would be the one near Santa Clarita. The big Malibu fires are more like 30 miles away.

I would be completely freaking out. We're in absolutely zero danger at this point...and there's a lot of concrete between me and any hillsides, so I'm really not concerned.

Let me know if there's anything I can do. Seriously.
