Blah blee blah blah
I'm pretty bored... my fiance's away at uni for the week and I'm watching Eastenders.... just looking for a bit of fun in this thread!

la la la la (and had a bit of wine too!)

Ah... Ask me anything if you'd like!

6. Hey--my sister and I went to a new winery
here in Sw Michigan. Yeah, I said Michigan you guys!!

Van Buren County is excellent vinyard material and we have three major vitners here.

I kept seeing the signs for Contessa (a smaller place), so my sister and I went last Saturday. I swear, it's the best wine I have ever tasted! I don't know how this guy took the bite off what usually hits you with michigan wines, but I've never tasted such soft, subtle, complex, blending of flavors. The cherry wine is to die for.

He actually makes a Michigan merlot!!

California, eat your heart out!

Are you a wine afficianado, or just have your favorites?

I usually go to a wine tasting every saturday at my parent's favourite liquor store in MN. Not so much anymore now that I live in the UK, but I'm looking forward to it when we've visit on the 9th.

I'm really not into the Merlots, but I'm more into the Shirazes and Cabernets. It depends on a wine... I really like Castillero Del Diablo Cab Sav (chilean wine) and Coppola syrah, which is the loveliest wine I've tasted.

EDIT: Whoops I didn't mean to post in the past tense.
