Of all the things I'll miss about the ALCS broadcast, one has got to be the frequent shots of Indians GM Mark Shapiro and his apparently Paxil-addicted trophy wife (pictured above). Every time the cameras caught these two, they were frozen in the exact same poses -- Shapiro furrowing his brow and reflecting on how he's gonna explain this latest collapse, and the missus looking glassy-eyed at nothing in particular, her thoughts likely shifting between, "If we lose, will we have to sell the hovercraft?" and "Man, do I like vanilla."

I would think Red Sox fans like yourself would be a little more humble in victory, considering your franchise/fans are certainly no stranger to the agony of defeat.

The Blue state baseball team crushed the Red "election-stealing" state baseball team. This has nothing to do with traditional baseball rivalries and disappointments I'm all too familiar with.

I just revel in Red state agonies however I can get them, and this crush fest is as good as any. If you're a Democrat in Ohio, I feel for you, but to the rest of the right wing neocon Clevelanders, I enjoy your pain.

And the Paxil comment came from a Cleveland writer. They're eating their own.
