The Cycle of Fire by Janny Wurts?

The three books that comprise the trilogy seem to only tell the first half of the story. Is anyone aware of a sequel?

I found. The cycle of Fire was written in the late 80's. Seems unlikely there will be any others according to this site.

That's a bit disappointing, though. Half of the story remains untold; Jaric and company end the trilogy knowing there are planets full of humans enslaved by psionic aliens. That's it. Huge myths told in the first three books, and then a couple really big revelations about the nature of the sorcery in their world, and then *poof* it's over.

It just feels... incomplete to me somehow.
