DU seems kind of empty today.

Does it seem like there just aren't many people here today?

1. Sort of... I think a lot may be tired
from all the games yesterday, especially in Boston with back to back games with the Patriots
and then the Red Sox. I know I'm exhausted! :P The Red Sox game didn't end until 12:35 AM
this morning and then my neighbors were lighting off fireworks for a little while and my son
was hooting and hollering and calling friends, so if any other fans were like us, they're all
tired out today but in a good way! :D Maybe they're all at Fenway greeting the team home.

Now my yard is just HUGE leaf pile. I have no idea how I am going to get through that one....

I took a long walk in the woods behind my house last weekend and it was gorgeous out there.

I don't have any clue what's been happening out by you. How badly this pResident Photo-Op's visit disrupt things? Is everything getting back to okay?

I hope you are well and have a chance for some real rest and relaxation sometime soon.

One of my fantasies is to get together a large groups of us from the lounge and take over a spa somewhere for the weekend. I'm sure we're not the only ones who could use that right now.

Thank the gods for that.

We are muddling through. My daughter, and her friends for that matter, are electric with pent up energy (they have not been able to play outside for over a week). The kids are eating indoors, they are having "recess" indoors. Ants in the pants is reaching critical mass with the little ones.

And the parents are just tired. Hardly seems fair.
