I am sad tonight...

I was thinking about lizziegrace's meetup in December...

And I got to thinking how much fun it will be...

And then I thought of the timing...

And the possible weather...

I can't do it...

And I really really wanted to go...

So I'm sad...

I sure hope you all can cheer me up...'cause I can't...

10. Definitely a difficult time to travel!

For once i am lucky to live in Ohio. ;-)

I was worried that we might be visiting family in KY during the party, but i think we'll be going the weekend before Christmas instead. Always such a hectic time of year...

Was the Aug '06 meetup in Columbus? I wish i had "known" all of you then! Alas i was still spending all my time in GD... what was i thinking??? :evilgrin:

but planes fly and land in Ohio all winter long...

so the weather shouldn't be a problem if you were going to fly.

Driving, a little trickier. Stay south as long as you can and then head north.

Interstates are usually kept cleared as soon as possible.

They tend to close if the weather is too bad.

I'm contemplating going.

I think it would be a blast.

Have to figure a few things out about it though.

26. If by chance the weather was good,

could you still go at the last minute? Or would thinking of that possibility make it even worse? All I know is that in Iowa the weather at that time is usually not that bad. The crappy heavy snows and such occur later on here. Ohio might be totally different however. Just sayn'..........
