Now that the baseball season is over, I have no shame in saying this:
The Mets are going to shove the ball up everyone's collective ass next year and re-establish a NEW order of National League dominance!

See you in the spring, boys and girls!

2. Almost
The Phillies will have spotted them a 7 game lead by MayDay then huff and puff and hit that tape at the finish line on the last weekend of the season. Doesn't that sound familiar? As we speak, the Phils hierarchy is working on one starter and one reliever. That'll do the trick.

"Everyone's collective ass?" Lets channel that anger young man.

4. "New order of National League dominance?" You must be smoking something.
Last 20 World Series: 13 AL, 7 NL
Last 20 All Star Games: 16 AL, 3 NL, 1 tie.

That isn't likely to change any time soon no matter how good any one team gets.
And it will not change as long as NL pitchers can rely on one easy out each time around the batting order.
