15. I love the smell of real vanilla extract but anything vanilla scented... YUCK!
And I only like smelling vanilla extract as a biproduct of baking, not in lotion or candles. Anyway, most vanilla candles and lotions smell like chemicals, vanilla and a whole bunch of sugar, so sweet and sickening. Blech!

My husband's family would always give me stuff scented with vanilla, roses, or melon and I cannot stand any of those scents. For awhile I would say thank you and leave it at that. But I finally got sick of it and wrote on my xmas list "I love lavender, mint, rosemary, basil, citrus, *light* fruity scents, cucumber, and coconut. Please no more melon, vanilla or floral scents." They teased me about it for awhile (and I think they were a little embarrassed that they had bought me so much stuff I hated in previous years) but now at least I get stuff I can use. Aveda makes a fantastic line of products that are rosemary-mint and I would never buy them for myself, so they make great gifts.

6. Patchouli
It makes me gag. Anything heavily scented, especially those plug in air fresheners. Our news director uses them and his office smells like the candle aisle at the dollar store.

I'm NOT a fan.

And most perfume and ALL men's cologne, especially the stuff that's musk-heavy. That body spray stuff they convince teens to buy makes me :puke:. Smells like chemicals to me.

16. Sadly, any of the Amazing Grace products by Philosophy. People buy them for
me *ALL* the time because of the name, and the packaging is cute, but I really don't like the scent at all. It's such a waste because I know that stuff isn't cheap.
