How far are you from a city of 100,000 people or more?
Thought this would put a twist on the "where are you located" question. I'm keeping the question general, as some might not want to give much of a hint where they are. I'm about 25-30 miles away (from both Allentown and Philly.)

This area is becoming suburban, and I DO NOT want to live in a suburb.

14. This is true!
However, Dallas County is completely blue and inner Houston is quite blue as well. Also, the Rio Grande Valley and El Paso consistently vote Democratic (those that vote). Sorry for the rant, but there are lots of us down here. Austin, though, is a bit more hippie liberal.

Plus so is West Texas and the Panhandle. East Texas is a mixture.

I'm currently living in Huntsville, TX, which is probably around 50 miles or so from Houston, which definitely meets the 100,000+ people standard. Maybe a little closer than fifty miles, maybe a little further- Houston and all its suburbs kind of blend together for me, and I'm not quite sure where one city ends and the other begins.
