I just want to celebrate
nearing the end of this stinking rotten Cold/Flu virus that has made me next to miserable for nearly the past two weeks.

At first it was kinda funny as it made my singing voice drop lower than Ike Turner. A real kick. Even wrote a thread (here) joking about it.

However i lost a lot of work and felt like a truck ran over me for the past twelve days. Nothing funny about that at all!

Am feeling much better tonight. I try never to biatch publicly about illness when it hits me. Only my friends hear about it. Who needs or wants to hear a compulsive complainer around anyway?

Gratitude is feeling happy for the small things and ecstatic about the big ones. Good health is always reason to be very happy. We just tend to take it for granted. A temporary sickness is a spiritual wake up call.

And all the money i lost from being sick!. Could hardly work the week before and was of only limited use the last week of October. Lucky i went to the casino to apply my efforts last Friday. Helped make the monthly house payment. Hope no one in the card room caught what i had.

Money doesn't mean crap next to health. Ask a sickly multi millionaire. They'd trade all their worldly goods to be healthy again. Everyone of them.

Sleeping under a culvert while healthy but homeless sure beats being grossly ill and living in a mansion.

I know.
