I went to the grocery store this morning
and saw something from the "You have GOT to be kidding" department:

Hard boiled, peeled eggs for sale $2.99 for a dozen.

:wtf: Did they think people have lost the recipe? :wtf:

2. I haven't seen that one
but I have seen potatoes wrapped in plastic being sold for a buck a piece--because they're microwaveable.

3. "For busy people" seems to be the new marketing phrase at supermarkets.
I'd bet you a nickel that many people have lost the recipe for hard boiled eggs, unless it was printed in the microwave manual.

One of my family members works for a large food distributor and they sell this product by the case to restaurants. Only a small leap from there to the grocery store shelves.

6. How the hell long does it take to boil an egg?
I mean, really. How busy do you have to be?

9. I know but I'm not telling.
:)

Some people loathe any time spent preparing food if they can avoid it, and that's the niche.
