2. TCM?
Edited on Sun Nov-04-07 12:05 PM by Whoa_Nelly
or TMC?

**Please forgive this question due to the fact that coffee is moving sluggishly through my veins and is just now at the entrance to my brains. Neuron firing soon to follow**

on edit: Neurons are now firing with synapses occuring quickly,
and NO I do not have more than one brain (see statement above)

9. Lots of good stuff on it
and Turner's company has lovingly restored a lot of old movies and kept them in their original black and white.

Some have been stunningly restored.

They are often shown off on TCM.

3. Great movie!
And one of the only ones that doesn't completely destroy the book.

...Must ... stay ... away ... from ... tv .... Must ... write ... article ... due ... tomorrow ... ugh...

11. I caught the last 2/3's of GWTW too-
It had been awhile since I had seen it last, and I enjoyed watching it again. I justified staying awake that late by getting an extra hour of zzzz's in this morning!

every time. I think i've seen GWTW at least 30 times.

17. well, I tried to watch GWTW.....but for some reason the movie was set with video description
Edited on Sun Nov-04-07 04:57 PM by carly denise pt deux
a woman kept talking during the movie, describing what scarlett wore, what rhett wore, their actions....it's good for the blind, she was quite descriptive, but it was driving me crazy and I didn't know how to shut it off and go to just regular audio

12. Saw GWTW
glad I didn't see The Magnificent Ambersons were next, or I would have stayed up for that one too. Great movies!

I can't believe GWTW had me reaching for the kleenex again at the end. I love Clark Gable in that movie.

15. the part that always makes me bawl is when Mammy and Ms. Melanie are walking
up the stairs and Mammy is telling Melanie about how unconsolable Rhett is over the death of Bonnie.
