I know if I go awhile without drinking, the next time I do drink I catch a buzz much faster and off a lot less booze.

But I believe that alcohol metabolizes slower in the presence of higher levels of estrogen.

Lower estrogen is what triggers ovulation.

14. Like I said, it has been years since I have actually studied this
and I am getting forgetful, it may be the progesterone, all I remember is that the hormones affect the metabolism of ethanol.
