You know... I was going to whine about something that happened to me today...
But then I realized that other peoples pain is far worse than my mild embarrassment and huge anger.

(I'm assuming that stupid people caused whatever happened today. It seems to be the common cause.) :)

4. From what I have seen you carry yourself with grace and dignity
and appear to keep it in proper perspective. I have never seen you try to steal someone's thunder (if you know what I mean). You allow for the fact that there are good days and bad days and some are worse than others and some days other peoples problems are worsse than yours. :yourock:

Go ahead and whine away, Girl friend.

Believe me, high school is often one of the worst places/times to be.

And all the while, the knowing adults say "These are the best days of your life!"

Don't believe them. High school can be destructive is ways that very little else can be.

And you don't get a paycheck at the end of the week - so you can't even blow off steam in that way.

You'll choose your Significant someones - but ya don't get to choose your parents or siblings, or the gnarly crowd at school that makes the stomach do double flips at lunch time.

20. Highschool has actually been pretty fabulous.
I'm in band.

I have tons of friends in all cliques.

My best friend is a cute boy who confides everything in me.

I have good grades.

I will be driving soon.

So my highschool life is pretty good. But thank you for being concerned... and yes, I do wish I could chose the other people at school.

That is wonderful. And driving will help when you have the "whines"

I learned long ago I am only one or two police car chases away from banishing the whines.
