That's all I have to say.

And that's sort of sad that was actually on my mind...

It's mystifying to me why they didn't cast Angela Lansbury in the film version of "Mame". Since, well, she did perfect the character in the Broadway production.

4. Lansbury wasn't as big a star at the time
and Ball was the most powerful woman in Hollywood at the time. Desi warned her not to do the movie but she ignored him. It was a terrible failure for her.

5. I liked the non-musical version "Auntie Mame" better
it had Rosalind Russell.
