-Zevon's album The Wind featured Billy Bob Thornton,

-Billy Bob Thornton appeared in Monster's Ball with Peter Boyle;

-Peter Boyle was in Young Frankenstein with Gene Wilder;

-Gene Wilder was in Bonnie and Clyde with Warren Beatty;

-Warren Beatty was in Splendor in the Grass with Natalie Wood.

Marni Nixon is the mother of Andrew Gold.
Andrew Gold worked with Waddy Wachtel on a number of musical projects.

(In this way, we can also connect John Larroquette to Bea Arthur. Why we would want to is another matter.)
