Which is better: porn, or relationships?

There's yet another porn debate in GD, and at least one of the posts was a well-intended complaint about how porn affects relationships. That got me thinking: is porn actually better than relationships? I mean, you never have to apologize to porn. Or help it move. Porn won't give you herpes, make you clean the cat-box or wake up in a bad mood. Porn never cheats on you (and if it did, who would care?), never wrecks your car and never tells you you're getting fat. Most importantly, porn never complains about how much you look at porn. It also occurred to me that if anybody ever invented porn that women really like, the human race would die off in a single generation. But that's another topic.

So, which is better—relationships, or porn?

Porn also doesn't keep sending you crazy email years after you break up. But that, too, is another story altogether.

They exist for different reasons, and there's no good reason you can't have both.

And if your old fuck buddy ever gets famous, those old pics will be worth something.

Nothing against porn, I think it's a legitimate outlet for those who aren't getting any, but images on a screen can never hope to compare to a flesh-and-blood human being, even if she or he may not look like a porn star.

Last time I actually started to do a crossword because it couldn't hold my interest for even a few moments.
