I really shouldn't complain. I'm very fortunate to have my opportunities.

Today was my day off, and I:

1. have been up since 6:30
2. put 75 miles on the car running around like an idiot
3. dropped off a bottle of wine with a friend whose birthday party I won't be able to attend tomorrow
4. deposited some checks at the drive-thru bank
5. finally went by Office Depot to pick up pencil leads, three-ring binders and a 4GB USB stick drive
6. took Quark to the vet
7. visited a friend to pick up, er, something for the weekend which I can't enjoy because the random drug tests at work (the s.o. has no such constraints)
8. raided the liquor warehouse store and picked up wine, sake and an interesting-looking brand of vodka
9. made a pit stop at the grocery store to pick up milk, deli meat, water, cat food and diet cokes
10. ducked into Starbucks because I really really needed a macchiatto

The s.o. spent the day complaining about their drama queen dad.

And I'm about to have to go pick up dinner.

Time elapsed: about 4 days.

How about 2 beers? :P
