A few pics from the around the house

Tonight the cousins are spending the night so, being that I am still fighting this virus and have been immobile for most of the day, I decided to break out the camera and get some family shots. I am not really a candids type photographer but here we go.

You just have to catch them in good moods. Whoa the person who catches the cats in an ornery mood or my kids! The dog is always happy. :)

Your children are so beautiful. I know that's an overused adjective, but it's the best one for them! Glad you were able to take pics... even while sick. Hope you feel better soon!

The doctor said it was just a virus, but man it has now migrated from head, to lungs, from lungs to my stomach. Ugh. :banghead: But hopefully it is working itself out now.

Honestly, you should frame them. They are fantastic. Adorable animals, Great memories and beautiful kids.

I need to do another set of candids with the kids. In our living room we have a 4X5 section that we painted with two colors of paint to create a frame and in that frame I placed several portraits of my kids in black and white. It's now two years old. I need to update the pics. ;)

I've been blessed with some fine children, nieces and nephews. The animals are very well mannered and cute as well. I got really lucky.

I can't believe I caught here awake and staying still. She is usually always on the move or simply sleeping.

the Gracie the cat portrait is perfect! Libby has such a wonderful face, a natural model. Great shots!

She has a great way with the camera.

There's a combo you can't beat! Great pix as usual. I love your stuff. Love the belted Kingfisher...never been able to get close enough to get a good look at one and this one is looking at you!

I still want to get a better pic of a kingfisher but this is all I can get for now. Again, thanks for nice comments and I love your avatar btw! :thumbsup:

I saw a whole flock of woodpeckers on the way to school Friday, I think they were freaked by the impending gale force winds. All of a sudden I saw
a flurry of gray feathers and white backs and butts!

One of these days I might get a picture of them. :hi:

I need a fix of woodpeckers around my neck of the woods. :hi:

When I am feeling down, looking at pics of my family or my feathered friends cheers me up. :hi:
