My wife and I are trying to figure out if this is a common term, or if we made it up. So, do you know what a brain freeze is? If so, please define.

7. I think it's a common term, but the definition thereof differs based upon

the user thereof.

What does it mean to you and Mrs Smoogatz? To Mrs R and me, it means any transitive lockup of congnitive function, such as: "Goddammit, I can't think of that word..."

This could be an interesting duscussion.

8. I don't want to prejudice the discussion by giving our definition.

But it's been mentioned in the thread already, so it's not just some idiosyncratic thing we invented. Which is good.
