Oh i love me some Costco even on a crazy 3 day weekend.
I picked up the entire "Blue planet" series from the BBC for $50, a big ass caesar salad and some boneless short ribs to go with it, the place was packed but it was well worth the trip. I also got a tub of the mini angel wing cookie/pastry things, i love them.

1. Those short ribs cook up nice in a crock pot.
Even though I'm attempting to avoid red meat entirely.

Nice score on the visuals. I wonder if they have Connections or The Human Animal.

2. i haven't had any red meat in 2 weeks, i'm trying to just stop eating it but those
ribs, they just looked so damn good.

I wasn't in the dvd section very long after i found Blue Planet, it was a bit scary there today but i was excited i got it, my daughter loved that series.

3. I just got a Costco membership.
I'm looking forward to some field trips! It's nowhere near my house but I hear it will be worth it, also it's nice to support a company that treats their people right.

4. enjoy and make sure you have plenty of room in your car. My car is tiny
with a really small trunk, we call it "The trunk hole" so i haven't been buying as much as i used to but i do enjoy a trip there about once a month to get books, dvds and meat.

5. I actually was led to buy the membership because of a deal on costco.com
They have an LCD projector for only $400! (after rebate) and since we do a lot of training and showing DVDs and other local Dem events, some friends and I decided to go in together and buy it. Four of us and only $100 each makes it affordable. :)
