There is an old working farm called Slate Run that is a state park in Ohio that we loved. Many Amish volunteers worked there and they grew and processed everything from vegetables to meat in the way it would have been done 200 years ago. It was a fascinating place. They even had camp outs for the kids (although they had to get up at dawn and feed the animals)and the kids loved it.
