Curvy women are smarter, have smarter kids

IT was already known that men find curvy women more attractive and that they live longer. Now research suggests that women with an hourglass figure are brighter and have cleverer children, too.

The study found that women with large hips and small waists are more intelligent than those with either "apple-shaped" or linear bodies.

I really hate these stupid studies which try to link this that n the other with intelligence. They almost always are flawed and have agendas. Does anyone want to tell me how this is any better than the studies linking intelligence with ethnicity? or religion (or lack thereof?
Since intelligence is actually kind of difficult to measure accurately (considering how biased many "IQ" tests are) this is nonsense..Junk science of the worst type, in this biologist's opinion.

Where is the study that wonders whether assinine studies like this and the harping about them in the media contribute to eating disorders/low self-worth, what-have-you, among young women who pick up on the fact that some people are bizarrely, freakishly obsessed with giving certain female body shapes preference over others, so maybe they should be too, and really obsess about the fact that they've failed in this category. (I don't know about anyone else but I think "hourglass" figures" are rare. I've known many, many athletic- or boyish- shaped women, and many that are pear-shaped but true hourglass types I can count on one hand. That's okay though, women should all run out and get breast implants and have their floating ribs removed so they have the most stylish, desirable body to snag that man, be allowed to live, etc.)

Men with high IQ's typically being more succesful are more likely to succeed in wooing mates who are they see as attractive IE hourglass figure, and the offspring are therefore typically intelligent? I didn't read the article, just the headline, so I don't know whether it addressed it.

My wife is definitely curvatious! She has some nice hips. I definitely prefer curvy women. And I believe my kids to be pretty intelligent.
