4. At one apartment complex I lived in, they did he remodeling every day
They use *ahem* "undocumented" labor and let them live (12 to a room) in one of the efficiency apartments.

All that is unsavory but what really ticked me off is that they started putting up siding on my apartment, on my bedroom wall, at 7 am on a SUNDAY morning. I managed to find the one person who spoke English, I guess the foreman, and screamed at him. And then I went and complained to the apartment manager the next day.
That is just uncalled-for. Needless to say, I moved.

Unlike selling liquor, there's no law against it.


Though, yuck, hammering at 7am is not a good way to do. What about noise ordinances in that case?
