It was a thing of beauty last night. We sent my Japanese friend off.

Yoko is going home. I'm actually getting teary-eyed thinking about it. I haven't had that happen in a while. But, last night we had a going away party and she got really sick off two drinks cause she only wieghs 77 pounds. Anyway, we were with her in the hallway of the apartment building and the parameds happened to be there for another reason. They checked her out and made sure she was okay. But she was on the ground puking on her knees. The paramed says, "Mecca's the other way." Fucking hilarious.
Then the night got sad when her best friend here and her went into a two hour crying fit because they're going to be separated. It was so touching.

Don't ya hate sending people off? I'll never see her again.

You'll never see her again? That's too much.

The chances are very slim. But, at least with communications these days it will be easy to stay in touch.
