Whew! I dodged a bullet tonight!

I decided it was high time I finished my take-home final...

So, I went off to find it in my WordPerfect program...

But I couldn't remember what I'd called it...

Thought I'd lost it!

There's a lot of files in there, gang...:scared:

After an exhaustive search, I found it...and now I'll remember what I called it!

2. That's funny.

it reminds me of something stupid I did earlier this evening.

I made a "wish list" of some cool-looking stained glass lamps on a table lamp website earlier and now I can't remember the name of the website it was! Duh. I've tried looking for it and I can't find it anywhere! :crazy:

I emailed the wish list to MrShine, but he hasn't gotten it yet. The site was supposed to send me a copy of what they sent to him and I haven't gotten it.

It's just dumb.

Anyway, glad you found what you were looking for.

I'm sure I will too, eventually....

Did you look in your history?

There's a way to access the files you looked at ....I think!

I've run across mine from time to time...usually accidentally though...

I just crawled through my file, and looked piercingly at each and every one of those damned files...

And when I saw it, I pounced!

but as you progress, you will discover that you do not have to dodge.

There is no spoon, and there are no bullets.

See, in dos, you could have listed details on the files and found the ones most recently accessed. You could do that in Windows too, if you know the folder your documents are stored in, under "view" and "list details"

I lose pictures, entire folders all the time. I use two different laptops and each are used by Ali's kids so they have their logins, and there are shared and non-shared folders.. Oy!

12. I lost a 25 page

report that was due in two days. Never did find it 'cuz I was just entering my CRS (can't remember sh*t era) and couldn't remember where I had filed it either. Thank God/dess I had all my notes. Worked myself half to death (and drove my family totally crazy with my crisis) but wound up with an A. Never lost another one after that!
