Thomcat needs some good vibes
He arrived at the airport 30 minutes before his flight (after a 2 hour trip on a shuttle...) and because the flight had been overbooked, they closed boarding 30 minutes early. He called and said he was on standby for one last flight to his destination. It's unlikely he'll get on that flight but had no choice but to wait.

He's tired, in pain and angry at spending so much time and money to go nowhere. :(

attitude. That's how he made it to the end of the march, didn't he? It was all about the journey.

I was dying for a restroom, remember? But we got to the finish together w/good humor. I just didn't hang around for the party after, but that's why you're waiting for him.

12. I just got off the phone with him
he's at the top of the standby list on a sold-out flight. He'll know close to 8:00pm if he gets out. If not, it's a 3 hour trip back to his apartment.

Praying for a miracle here. Something good has *got* to happen for him. Just once. :(

They couldn't make an exception for someone with a disability? They could have asked if someone else would be willing to wait. Surely some kind soul (me, probably - I'm a born sucker - I've changed seats for soldiers on leave) would be willing to switch. They usually offered me a free meal or an up-grade.

Flying sucks these days.

But Good Vibes are on their way. Ommmmmmmm.
