CHILDREN OF MEN: The greatest science fiction film?
2001, Blade Runner, and Brazil are all masterpieces, but I'm at a loss to think of another genre film that had this much brains, heart, and soul. It's The Godfather of SF--with nary a false note.

Any takers?

3. I've never heard of Brazil

I liked Children Of Men because it has parallels to current situations regarding terror

6. A very good movie
and probably deserves to be mentioned in any relatively short list of best SF movies but the greatest in terms of Science Fiction? ...no that has to go to Forbbiden Planet for its innovation and hard-sf perhaps SF Operaish themes.

11. Haven't seen it. But of the sci-fi flicks I have seen, 2001 gets my vote.
