Hahahahaha! England
Edited on Thu Nov-22-07 02:42 AM by LadyAziz
The English national team failed to qualify for Euro 2008, how embarrassing }(

the most overhyped team on the planet, in my opinion.

:bounce:  :bounce: :woohoo:

2. I'm worried about the England goalkeeping situation
The likes of Scott Carson and Paul Robinson are good goalies but put them in an England shirt and it all falls apart. Something would appear to be wrong with the England goalkeeping setup.

I'm not going to argue about us being overhyped. I'm just waiting for Steve McLaren to go now as the tactics last night were dreadful.

3. Well they'll hire others from other nations for their pro clubs
And they'll show us. The good news is for whoever is hosting the event won't hane English Soccer hooligans to deal with.

5. That's one big problem with our football scene.
The Premiership clubs are deeply unpatriotic. They have loads of money and will just buy the best players from round the world to fill their teams with. They couldn't care less about English talent and it just goes to waste.

Then when an international competition comes around, hey, we've got no star players to fill the national side with. How did that happen??

Much as I hate to admit it, the only top club in England that cares about English talent is Manchester United.

6. Isn't Arsenal made up completely of foreign nationals, including the manager?
I saw that once while watching a Arsenal vs Bayern Munchen and was just astonished about it.

7. I wouldn't be surprised.
I think Chelsea were the first club to field a team without a single English player in it. They did that back in the 90s.

9. L'arse is embarrassing
It's like they go after french speaking players, and their only English player I can think of is Theo Walcott.

8. the English media
When they win they are praised like heck, when they lose well you know...

Why did they not chose a foreign manager?
