The more protective gear, the higher the jump.

9. Nope, our priority has to be WOC
We can launch an attack on the NFL during the playoffs.

15. When they allowed Irsay to move the Colts to Indianapolis
I mean, the Colts and Browns were old time NFL history making franchises, they should have stayed put and Indy pick up an expansion team.

8. Super Bowl XL 2006
Look at the stats and then look at the scoreboard. You'll find out that the Stealers' (not a typo) MVP's were the ones in the black & white uniforms.

Stealers owners are big Chimp donors. Seahawks owner Paul Allen...... not so much.

21. What's to complain about Super Bowl XL?
Just because the Seahawks appeared in Super Bowl XL doesn't mean they're in the same league as Pittsburgh; note the 21-0 lesson the Steelers gave the Hawks earlier this season.

If you want to drag the owners' political donations into the discussion, we can also talk about the marriage of Seattle's quarterback to some right-wing hack on "The View."

14. I'm not sure it has jumped the shark.
The higher octane passing offense, e.g., is much more to my liking than the old run it up the middle/grind it out offense of years gone by.

If it HAS jumped the shark, it's the Patriots' fault.

18. Whichever Super Bowl halftime show had Britney Spears and NSYNC.
I think it was 2002, it was also the year they had that horrific Britney Spears Pepsi commercial.

19. I don't know, but I was talking with a male friend who is a football fan last night
and he was trying to explain the appeal to me (I only went to home games in high school because it was required for marching band, and I went to one home game freshman year of college) in ways other than just stating the cliched "It's a guy thing."

His logic? "We were running out of Christians and lions, so the NFL will have to do." :P
