Celeb sightings over the long weekend.

I was in New York for T-day (Weds - Sun).

Saw Anderson Cooper at JFK. What a hunk o' man.

Friday I saw, spoke to and got a hug from GLENN CLOSE! We were having dinner at Joe Allen's prior to going to see "Young Frankenstien" and she was sitting at a table near us. As she got up to go to the can, I smiled and waved at her. She motioned to me "come here" and we spoke briefly and I told her I loved her. She gave have me a big hug and kiss on the cheek.

I understand when they want their privacy, and they are entitled to it... so it's even more special when they let you come over and say hello.

And she's a big star.... so VERY cool!

to sing for Candlelight processional at EPCOT every year. They had various famous people doing narration. The only ones I remember offhand were Levar Burton and David Ogden Stiers. We also had some soap opera actress who I didn't recognize one year, but some of the girls were excited about that one. :P Never actually got to go meet them though, just stood nearby and sang while they narrated.

My brother got lucky when he did Candlelight though. He not only had the voice of Darth Vader himself, James Earl Jones, doing the narration... he got to meet him.

Also my school was chosen for this one Shania Twain song that she has local schoolkids sing the background part to when she was in town. I have a picture of that one somewhere. Only got to meet her violinist and her guitarist, not her. We just stood about 20-30 feet behind her and sang.

I'm particularly jealous that you spotted Anderson - he's such a cutie. But Glenn Close sounds amazing and very sweet! What an amazing story! It's always nice to hear when celebrities are kind to fans.
