UPS - please use the buzzer. People might be home!
People were here today when they showed up. Myself included. But the buzzer did not go off.

When I disposed of some trash, I saw the brown sticker of doom - claiming they attempted but were unable to deliver and will try again tomorrow.

Okey dokey.

2. That's happened to me, too.
I think when they're in a hurry and it's the middle of a weekday, they just assume nobody is home. If I'm home and expecting a delivery, I always put a sign on the door: "UPS -- ring bell, we're home!"
