And, when those days went, they took a little bit of God's grace with them.

21. I was once on a city bus that got hit by a school bus
trying to pass the SF Muni bus illegally on a two lane road.

That wasn't the 14-Mission "Colt 45" driver though, it was the 44-O'Shaughnessy driver.

22. Sorry, for me, classy and deliberately drunk don't go together
I've known people to get accidentally drunk (There was this mead at a Ren Fest once time)but that's a different story.

Put it this way: would you think I was classy if I ate so much chocolate I started puking?

46. If you can keep it down
I'd recommend getting drunk on Stroh if you really, really hate yourself. Drinking it is basically a cry for help.

A friend found it excellent for 'bring a bottle' parties. One person at the party would try a mouthful, retch, shout "God that's crap!", and the party would avoid the bottle for the rest of the night. He'd then retrieve the bottle, and bring it to the next one. It lasted about 5 parties before we had a drinking game which emptied the entire house of anything drinkable - including the Stroh. It was about as popular as the Tabasco.

48. awesome story
I once invited a classmate who had been studying at my apartment to have a shot of it to brace for the cold walk home. He drank a shot, coughed, sputtered, had his eyes turn red, and said "wonderful, now I feel like I'll probably puke on the walk home"

This stuff was clearly the inspiration for Ol' Janx Spirit

42. Try Glenlivet, my favorite single malt scotch and you may never
drink anything else. I started drinking Chivas but it gave me hangovers. As soon as I switched to single malt they went away. Glenlivet is extremely smooth. It is one of the few liquors that I could drink "neat".

51. Bourbon. I recommend Jim Beam Black for the beginner.
Bourbon is the only liquor for red-blooded Americans. Tennessee whiskey (Jack Daniels) is for namby-pamby jellyfish.

Canadian whiskey is possibly the worst thing I've ever tasted. Some Scotch is OK...but...

Real drinkers are bourbon drinkers.
