So what music have you listened to lately?
Me:

Big Crosby's Merry Christmas, on CD
samples from Brittney Elizabeth, one of my new singer/songwriter discoveries
Ingrid Michaelson - Girls And Boys

I highly recommend all three!

Too bad the Lucy Walsh CD won't be out until the spring. :-(

6. Hi, mvd!
I LOVE all the Trans Siberian Orchestra albums. In my car, I listen to Sirius HOliday music and they play some darned good stuff. Some hokey stuff, too, but that comes with the season.

Rosie O'Donnell's first Christmas album is a good one, IMHO.

I generally like all Christmas music, though, so I'm probably not the best person to ask for advice.

8. My all time favorite several years ago was the
.....

Hanson Brothers Album. Those boys had beautiful voices and hearing them sing O Holy Night gave me goosebumps.

They do have nice harmonies. I need to expand my collection. I have a Readers Digest compliation, the Big Crosby, and Martina McBride albums on CD. The others are on tape.

11. Do you like Era Vulgaris?
I've heard all kinds of things... curious to know what you think.

I bought Lullabies and although I liked it well enough at first I hardly ever listen to it now. Not sure if I want to get the latest...

12. Hell yeah!
It's way different than anything QOTSA has done to date (if you're expecting another Songs For The Deaf or Rated R, look elsewhere), but that is a good thing!

19. On the way home , Zeppelin.
I listened to Justin Timberlakes FutureLoveSexSounds this morning while I was getting dressed.

And right now I have Britney Spears 'BlackOut' playing on the computer.I'd never buy it but someone sent it to me to download for free. It's really not that bad if you forget it's her singing.Well, the music isn't bad the lyrics are another story. It'd be good music to work out to or dance to in a club anyway.

21. Just listened to Beethoven's 7th a few days ago... second movement has always been one of my
favorates of his.
Right now in my mp3 player I've still got the same list of movie soundtracks that I've had for a while. Mostly fantasy stuff, like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, ect. Great big orchestral stuff.

24. As far as albums go, lately I've been really into Flogging Molly's "Swagger."
:headbang: Amazing album (although personally I think pretty much all their work is amazing), and it seems like it just gets better with every listen. :D

I've also been listening to the Classic Rocktopia channel on AccuRadio quite a lot lately when I'm working at my computer. I've been hooked ever since a fellow DUer introduced me to it! :hi: Peace.
