My neighbor across the hall abandoned his apartment a little while ago and apparently yesterday the cable came to disconnect his service. Except they pulled all the wires for my apartment.
Two service techs were in my apartment for an hour trying to fix my service and couldn't get more than 3 channels on my box. They call in, turns out there's a system outage across the entire grid right now. They left with a fun "When they fix the outage everything should work". Something tells me I'll be calling customer service again by tomorrow.
