Wow! I just noticed that I have a star!

If someone donated for me, I'd like to thank him or her. I mentioned on a recent donation thread that I wished I could donate but I couldn't. (I've been strapped for cash for so long and the pt job at which I'm underemployed ends at the end of the month.)

Again, thank you. Once I get on my feet financially, I will certainly donate, and if I get strong enough financially, I'll "pay it forward" and donate for someone else who isn't able to.

And it is wonderful that you have the humility to share and thank the person. When I was VERY broke years back and started to attend some 12 Step meeting, there was a guy who took me out with the group and always forced me to order coffee, sandwich, and dessert. He did it so many times, he would not even sit with me--he let me sit with people I "clicked" with more--but he alway made sure he picked up the check. After a few years I got a very good job and offered to pay him what I approximated I owed him. He laughed and insisted I "pay if forward." He died recently of AIDS. If I believed in angels, I would say that James was one.

is going to the home front! These REP's are getting everything handed to them and we have nothing! So have been doing things out of my own pocket! The prez of the Dem's hates me doing that, but there little choice!:evilfrown:

A very wise person once told me that the best gift you can give someone is an anonymous one. It's given with no strings attached and with no obligation felt by the recipient.
