I Just Got An Ipod Touch
Jesus, this thing is amazing.

I got a $300 gift card and a $50 best buy gift card. I used them both at best buy two days ago to get a ipod touch and a $50 itunes gift card.

This thing is unreal. I can visit DU, and post on it, from this thing. I can check and send email. I can put photos on it. Music, movies, tv shows.

All for $270 - because I got an open box one that was flawless.

This thing is like crack in a box.

Anyone have one?

My husband owns a small company and we thought of end of year gifts for the employees, but we just did the boring bonus because we couldn't come up with any good ideas.

5. I got mine in September for my birthday
I LOVE it! It is having a computer in your pocket at all times. The calendar makes it an efficient PDA also, and the music quality can't be beat. Not to mention buying a song you want on itunes and having it downloaded immediately to your ipod touch. I love the coverview for albums and may I suggest you browse through the web applications on the apple site. I even have games and sticky notes on mine now. It was the ipod I was waiting for!!!!!

I'm not familiar with the iPod Touch. From your description, it sounds like it has almost all the features of an iPhone but without the ability to make calls. Is this right?

How heavy is it?

18. Same here. My iPhone is fabulous.
Can't wait till they open it to third party developers in February. I'm using hacked applications now, but it will be great to see what kind of stuff gets developed once Apple starts supporting it.

All other phones feel like toys after the iPhone.

17. No.. It uses Wifi.
So you are limited to where you can get Internet access. If I am downtown this isn't a problem. We have lots of open hot spots. In my neighborhood it is hard to find an open hot spot. But I can use my iPod Touch around my house. (I leave the network open)
