18. Well, actually today was a wonderful day.
My brother that hadn't been to Tucson for twelve years is here for a visit.
He and his fifteen-year-old-twin sons came to my workplace today.
I work in a large machine shop, fabricating large scientific instruments,
making things and stuff out of metal.
I spent more than an hour showing them what I do, how I do it and why I do it.
The enthusiasm those two young men showed for my job was very rewarding.
How about you?

Guys hanging out in the shop doing guy stuff. It doesn't get much better than that. :) It is especially rewarding when young people appreciate what we can teach them. I have the feeling that you are (or would be) an excellent teacher.

Me, I'm doing well. Got some really nice things going on in my life these days. And fate has seen fit to give me a temporary reprieve from the discouraging things. I'll take it!
