It doesn't like to charge with the laptop closed, and I need it for the a.m. Housework. So here I is, listening to Jeff Buckley, Stevie Wonder, Ani DiFranco, and Tool....

Is there an easy way to get a Zen to talk to iTunes? It only seems to link to the Windows media player. I had to burn a bunch of CDs, then rip them to Windows media, and then drag and drop to sync...

But now that I've got this puppy working I love it! Very cool Christmas gift.

mine is 30 GB and at the time was about half the cost of a 30 GB iPod.

I used Windows Media Player to do it.

I believe that iTunes (and newer versions of WMP) require that you "own" the music that you upload to your mp3 player now.

20. AFAIK - You can purchase songs from iTunes or you can copy songs into iTunes

from an actual CD (not a burned one - because of the RIAA). Then you can copy all the songs from iTunes into the iPod.
