Is this fish safe to eat?

Hey there.

I bought some fresh salmon steaks on wednesday night, and I left them in the fridge since I was planning on marinading them and eating them the next day. Something came up yesterday, so I didn't prepare them on thursday. I decided to prepare them today. The thing is...are they still safe to eat? I gave them the old smell test, and they have a very slight, non-appealing fish smell (but I don't think it's abnormally stinky).

Can I grill it up or should I toss them? They were fairly expensive, so I don't want to waste them.

1. I would think they'd still be good today, but I'd cook them right now

if I were you. They will definitely be 'off' by tomorrow.
