DU reviews sought--anybody use Scrivener word processing/writing software?
I'm seriously considering ditching my old version of Word at home and going with Scrivener. Anybody have it and like it (or have it and hate it)?

2. No, I have not even heard of it.
Have you tried Open Office? It is similar to MS Office, only far less bloated and FREE!

Open Office will open all of your existing MS Office documents with no trouble.

I do a lot of writing, so the storyboarding and related functions REALLY appeal to me.

8. I know--I hate that.
Not sure there's a way around it, maybe with Linux (but probably not). There's a similar program for Windows, but it doesn't grab me the way the info on Scrivener does.

It wasn't too long ago when I was but a frolicking young lad, skipping through the poppy fields in lovely old England. The War was over, our boys were coming home, and there were to be no more bombings which scared my younger sister so.


And on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on.

Never heard of Scrivener.
