Well...I quit my job tonight.
I don't know what I'm going to do now, but at least I feel really good about it.

Thank the gods I've been saving up my money.

I don't know, I just felt like I needed to tell someone.

1. My dear Fox Mulder...
I'm glad you've been saving your money...

And I think it's terrific that you feel good about your actions!

Now, perhaps you have some time to figure out what happens next!

Good luck to you...

4. Thank you very much.
I'll have a few weeks to figure out what I'll be doing.

I've been working nights at this job for a couple of years now, and as each night passed, I got more and more depressed about it. Now, I feel like the weight of the world has lifted off my shoulders.

8. I worked overnights...
at a printing company. I worked on the presses doing mindless and repetitive labor. My job was to stack bales of paper onto skids. Some nights, we'd have hundreds of bales to stack.

It was awful.

10. Thank you. I've done allot of no-brainer grunt work myself; and ...
...this kind of work was not suited for people who were older than ourselves, at the time. ;)

11. yeah I worked in a printing place for a little while.
I was working nights too, it sucked! Well I took the job during winter break from college. I worked until lunch break, and after I was done eating I said fuck this place, I never punched back in and just left. 4 hours was plenty for me.

It was loud, dirty, hard work, for crappy pay and every person working there was just barely smarter than a monkey.

12. Yeah, it's horrible.
There are a lot of dumbasses working at the place I worked at. They make George Dubya look like Albert Einstein. It was THAT bad.

The pay was decent, though. I don't think I'll find another job in this area with the kind of pay I was getting.

Oh well.

14. Well, I was only there through a temp agency
thats why my pay was caca.

I worked half a day and made like 28 bucks.

My normal summer/winter part time job working for a telcom company paid me more than that per hour! Lucky for me work at my usual job picked up the next week and i was able to go and do what I liked and make good money.

15. Good for you. There's nothing worse than a bad, abusive or unhealthy job.

16. I know.
I have been swirling more and more into depression at that place. I finally had enough of it tonight.

I don't know what I'm going to do, but I know I'll have to move to find a job that paid as well as this one. I wanted to move anyways.
